Kalyway Leopard Mac OS X on PC DRIVER HELP
So I downloaded the Kalyway_Leopard_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd. It came with an ISO, an ADD_KEXT_TO_DVD folder, and a couple extremely complicated Readme's, written in english by someone very brave, but without a great understanding of the english language.
Here's a link...
It works great.
Anyways, I've been struggleing for quite some time trying to find a Hackintosh version of the Mac OS X and upon further research (and dealing with "Still waiting for root device." errors), I realized that different computers have different needs in Hackintosh types. I have an HP Pavilion, so the Kalyway breed was the way to go for me.
Not being too literate in this field, I followed some tutorials and yadda yadda. I'll try and sum up what I did... (Oh yea, I have Windows 7)
- Right Clicked My Computer > Manage.
- Shrank some Volume Space. (50 gb to be safe)
- Torrented and Burned the Kalyway ISO onto a disk.
- Rebooted my PC and booted from Disk.
- Lotsa line of Code. (Scarwwee)
- Saw an Apple. (Oh my... did it work this time?)
- Clicked Utilites > Disk Utilities.
- Clicked the Partition I wanted to use. Erased it. Used MAC OS X Extended (Journaled).
- Named it Leopard.
- Exited and Installed.
- Logged in played a little. (Sweeeeeet)
- Alright. Put the Windows 7 disk back in the disk drive.
- Reboot PC and boot from Disk.
- Click Recovery/Repair.
- At the tools I chose "command-line" and typed...
DISKPART> list disk
DISKPART> select disk n
DISKPART> list partition
DISKPART> select partition n
- I now have a prompt when I start my computer up to start in Windows or Leopard! Yay!
But because I didn't fool around with the ADD_KEXT_TO_DVD folder. I don't think I have drivers. (My sound dosent work, no wifi, can't read simple flash drives, no graphic drivers.) I didn't want to over complicate anything that I thought I had an "ok" understanding in. And I couldn't even understand what was being read in these Readme's. Heh.
Now, can anyone help me out with a tutorial, and/or detailed guide that will help me install these or ANY OTHER drivers you may know of, to work in my Kalyway MAC OS X?
If you think I should just upgrade to a different version or something, and have a nice tutorial on how to go about doing it with links to everything I'll just do that as well.
TLDR (Too Long Didn't Read)
Installed Kalyway Mac OS X on my PC. Dont have drivers. Think you can help me out?
Thanks for any help that's thrown my way. I REALLY appreciate it. You don't even know.
