I have been trying to install OSx on my HP Elitebook 8530w. I have tried the following distro's.

iATKOS S3 v2
iPC_OSx86_Leopard_10_5_6_Intel_AMD_SSE2_SSE3
10.6.2_SSE2_SSE3_Intel_AMD_by_Hazard
iDeneb_v1.3_10.5.5

But all do pretty much the same thing gets to the apple logo then reboots... I tried the -x command and the cpus=1 commands and get the above results just reboots.

Any suggestions, I attempted the same on my HP Mini 110 and get the same results.

I have iPC_OSx86_Leopard_10_5_6_Intel_AMD_SSE2_SSE3 working after burning at 4x... Had to install OSx86 Tools and install a different bootloader. Got audio working from a google search and downloading a 8530w.zip file... Still don't have network going to run to bestbuy and get a usb adapter. Still have a few issues... even through screen res is great, I still get a few apps that report video card isn't supported like DVD player and Photo Booth.

More testing to be had but maybe a convert

I am having a weird issue, I am getting the Resolution but the Color Depth appears to be a bit weak when I start photo editing it looks like it is only running 16bit instead of 24/32bit color... Any Suggestions? I have changed nVidia Drivers and still the same results. I am running an nVidia Quadro 770
