iOS SDK on iAtkos Snow leopard
Hi everyone,
I am a project manager for a small business in the process of developing its first iOS app. I need to be able to run the iOS SDK but have a limited budget. Thus, I am attempting to run Snow Leopard on a Hackintosh (Dell XPS m1539). However, I cannot get vanilla Snow Leopard to install so I am attempting to install iAtkos snow leopard. My question is, will I able to download the iOS SDK and betas from Apple if I proceed with iAtkos or will they notice that my OS is "genuine" Mac OS X and prevent me from downloading from their servers? If they do, what consequences will follow? Will they deactivate my developer account? Please note, I am completely willing to purchase a copy of Snow leopard and use its serial number to register if that would work (I just can't get it to install that way).
Thanks for your help!

you can use a retail copy of Snow leopard to install it on you computer.Every distro including iAtkos is made based on a legit copy but they share same serial. So its better to keep yourself safe. You dont know what apple gonna do.They may just deativate your account if they somehow find out you're computer is not right. But its a matter of fact I was able to update my iAtkos to version 10.6.7 with the online update. So you can give it try.But there are ways to install retail mac osx. Checkout Tony'sOSX89 Blog..they developed a way to install legit copy and update..on a PC.So follow that method.tonymacx86 Blog: iBoot + MultiBeast: Install Mac OS X on any Intel-based PC hope it helps.
