Default Installing using the Retail disc 10A432

I found a guide on ihackintosh on how to install Mac OS X 10.6(Snow Leopard).

But after completing it, i was not pleased to fin that it didnt work.

I was wandering if anyone else knows or has a guide that could help me install it.

I dont care if it is upgrading my current or a fresh install as long as it works.

It can be text or video.

    Thanks in advance

    Talking ????????

    Hiya,

It may help the community if we know the specs of your machine???

    Mobo, chipset, etc.....

Did you check out the wiki os x 86???

5 days ago I knew nothing, but learnt all I had to through everyones best friend GOOGLE....

Their are plenty of good guides around but you want a specific guide for your mobo really, I just tried a few then sorta mashed them all together untill I had a working system.

    Kind regards,

    Wink Erro

    Hiya again,

I used this Guide plus a USB boot guide from elseware. Here's the guide I followed it should be ok with your board, just back up you smbios.plist, dsdt.aml and com.apple.boot.plist from your iDeneb 1.4 install and edit in the few extra lines in the tut.

Hope this helps ya out m8,

Guess you gonna have to wait for the wiki to come back online..
