You may email me if you have any further questions re: the machine or hardware.
non keyboard or mouse on my acer extensa
I'm having issues too. I managed to install osx 10.6.3 no problem, but I can't get the keyboard or touchpad to work. Only external usb mouse keyboard. and my resolution is stuck at 1024x768.
Did you have any luck getting drivers for your acer laptop?
I need some help regarding the same. I did install The HAZARD distro on my netbook. SO, I have some experience regarding this.
However, I am lost on how to install on my Extensa 4420. If one of you can point me to a guide that you referred to, that would be greatly appreciated.
The specs are:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 TK-57 1.9GHz
ATI M690G chipset
2 GB of DDR2 667 MHz memory, upgradeable to 4
ATI Radeon X1250 with up to 896 MB of HyperMemory
14.1" WXGA TFT LCD, 1280 x 800 pixel resolution
8X DVD-Super Multi double-layer or DVD/CD-RW Combo drive
Sound: ALC268 (I want mic working for skyping with colloborators)
Lan: Marvel Yukon 88E8071
Card reader: O2
Webcam: Suyin (Acer Crystal Eye)
Wifi is real necessary for me. I understand that most of the Broadcom adapters work in SL. I just want to confirm.
