Installing Snow Leapard on Asus A8N-VM
I've tried all weekend to get my Asus A8N-VM CSM MoBo and AMD 64 3500+ to take OS X but have not succeeded.
I tried leo4all, ideneb and iatkos on different versions from 10.5.2 to 10.6.3...
Sometimes the install works, but no USB, Audio or Sound or even Ethernet.
The Mobo specs are:
CPU is AMD 64 3500+
Motherboard is Asus A8N-VM CSM
Nforce 430 chipset
GeForce 6150 embeded video
Looked through all google, and nothing seems to work.
I did this install on a Intel based board last year with Leopard 10.5.2 but now im kinda rusty on what I need to do and how to handle the kext install/remove...
Thanks for any suggestions.
I also have a Centos 5.2 box and 2 other Windows 7 boxes.
Can someone tell me which version I should install?
I simply need USB, Video (on-board), SATA and my TL-wn951n wireless PCI card to work on this Asus A8N-VM.
Thanks for any help.
can anyone tell me which version I would have the best chance to install?
Should I also install default and then pick the kext i need after the install is complete and I have a working " base" system?
If so, how do I install kext afterwards? do I need to go through the complete re-install for each kext I try?
