Any idea how to get rid of this error??????? I also changed my BIOS to ACHI but it did not work. Please help me. My hardware details are as follows:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 2.10 GHz
    Computer: ACPI x64 based PC
    Memory: 2GB
    Current OS: Windows 7
    BIOS: InsydeH2O Version 1.20
    Direct X: DirectX 11

    Hope for the help..............

Which boot dvd are you using, are you using EFI Legacy Empire or what?

I am new to this, I got it installed on a desktop dual core intel pc, however I do not have the graphics that I would like and have no sound at all.

Posted 2 posts, but not many post back.

I guess not many people try this...

    Hi there,
Alright, you could try to reburn the DVD with good media at the slowest speed and see if it's better. As that error usually is from reading problem of either DVD media or hardware/DVD drive, most of the times.

    Good luck.

    Ok,
One thing at a time. Did you reburn you DVD? If so, does it display that EBIOS read error any more? And you have different problem now, or is it the same one from the begin?

Apple and circle do not like you, perhaps.

For all this time with OSX installation, you should come back here with better question than that, just to show you're trying for solution yourself first.

Just a screen with apple icon and circle would not give much clue as there are hundreds of reasons which it could be.

Boot with -x -v for possible verbose error message of where OSX stuck.
