Installation problem
Hi, I installed ipc on my computer, and when it restarted everything went well, it started up and the grey apple screen appears, as if it's starting up, but it just keeps going and going and will not do anything else... At one point it shows a little banned signn (like the one that is showed to say no smoking, the O with a line through it) what should I do?
Thanks

Hi there,
So the installation did not go well as you said.
How would you like to be assisted?
Can you at least post an error message?
Cheers,

Ok
There really wasn't an error message, should I try to reinstall it? What distro do you recomend for a Dell inspiron 530 intel core 2 duo 4 gb of ram?

You would have to boot verbose to get a possible error message. Hit F8 at boot and type in -v or perhaps cpu=1 -v depending on your system. As to your last question try link . Plenty of options just pick your poison.
