Installation Mac os x snow leopard
Im trying to get Mac os x snow leopard installed on my Maximus Formula 2.
When i make a bootable USB with the original copy of mac os x and a tool i get from the guide of Taranfx.
I change the bios settings to AHCI, Power suspens: S3 only and boot from usb. Then chameleon bootloader starts and i get the error: Only found 3 threads but need 2 or something like that. Than he wants me to reboot and everytime i get the same error.
When I try with the same bios settings and Ideneb 1.3 (10.5.5) i get the error: still waiting for root device. I can't get this workin too.
Then I tried iPC mac os x OSX86 10.6 he boots good and i get the installation.
Afther that i made my partition Extenden (Journaled) and GGUID. Then i clicked next but then he starts the installation so i forgot about the kexts because i couldn't get any message of the drivers so where do i find them?
So i have it installed but when i boot i get a grey screen with appel logo and the the computer shuts down. I can't install again because i get a message with: "using 10485 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers"
Also when i try with -f -x -v -cpu=1 and with USB installation i still get message of 3 threads need 2.
How do i get MAC os X snow leopard installed, i don't need a dualboot with windows 7 or windows xp but if it is easier with dualboot thats ok too!
