I have a Packard Bell Easynote TJ71 notebook computer which I would like to try to install Snow Leopard on.

I have a spare hard drive which I intend to use solely for the hackintosh install, and a 16 GB USB flash drive that I have prepared on an iMac with a genuine Snow Leopard install DVD, and which should be working as far as I know.

Now, the tricky part: The guides I have been following specifies how the BIOS should be configured. The BIOS (Phoenix) on my laptop only has a very limited selection of parameters to change however, meaning the specified settings are not to be found in my BIOS. The installer is booting from the flash drive, but not much more with the current settings.
Does this mean I'm out of luck?
