iDeneb v1.4 | Unable to mount /dev/disk0s1
hi all,
first of all system specs
Acer Aspire 5100:
AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-52
WDC WD1600BEVS-22RST0 ATA Device
if you need any others please ask
i have been tryin to install mac on my laptop for a while now with some difficulties.
first tryin the Jas Mac 10.4.8 image
this disc booted up fine but the disk util counldnt see my hard drive.
later i found online that my sata hard drive wasnt supported until later versions.
now i'm trying to install the iDeneb v1.4 image
this disc wont even boot. i get the apple logo with an error icon at the top.
if i boot the disc with -v it runs thru the code and gets stuck on mounting /dev/disk0s1.
i presume this error shows that it can find the hard drive but cant mount it.
i have taken a photo of the final section and added it below

(sorry for poor quality)
if anyone with more experience can help i would greatly appreciate it. thanks
