Iatkos v 7 won't boot past "loading Darwin /x86"
I've been looking around at all of the forums and can't seem to find an answer. Iatkos v 7 won't get into the installer. Whenever I run -v, it gets to the "loading Darwin /x86" and the spinner on the left eventually stops and goes away. Then it just sits there. I have tried these options (usually interchangeably): -v, -f, -x, toh -v, -v busratio=10 cpus=1. When I run nforce_core -v it goes back to the press f8 screen and when i type in -v, it gets stuck at "setting boot -uuid to: CA70EDFA-SC0F-3EE1-85C1-549AD20F9B35" then gets stuck again at the loading darwin screen. I have used the same .iso to install on my Dell and had minimal problems, so I know the .iso is good. Any suggestions?
My Specs:
Compaq Presario CQ60
AMD Athlon Dual-Core QL-62
HP F.54 BIOS
NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G 256MB
Atheros AR5007 802.11b/g WiFi Adapter
*Sorry, I didn't notice that I put this in the Snow Leopard Thread

I have tried different distros and I keep getting similar results. Is my problem as generic as incompatible hardware? Can anyone please offer any kind of support?

have you tried kalyway 10.5.2 ?

Yes, I've tried iATKOS v4 and v7, Kalyway 10.5.2, and a retail leopard with a boot 132.

you could also try Empire EFI...there are many different "optimizations" ,depending on your hardware, to choose from...you could also try the usb flash drive method...

Empire EFI seems to have gotten me further than all the other options, but it has similar results. The only difference this time is that after I boot to the retail disk, I see the Chameleon and then the computer restarts. I downloaded 2 different AMD .iso and they really didn't seem to help much. So as for right now, I'm still stuck trying to get into the installer.
