hi, i am noob on macs and installing them.

My laptop is dell xps m1530...

I made a research about install mac snow leopard 10.6 on PcS....
And i downloaded the iAtkos s3 v2 image and burned it on a dvd with windows image burner.

I made a restart and booted the image.

And then i waited about 20 - 35 secs (there was not a thing to put a command on)

and then it loads sth and then that Grey screen with the apple and then the errors.

    it is just like that:

I used iatkos s3 v2 in order to install it and choose:
    Bootloader
    -Chameleon V2 RC5
    Bootloader options
    -32 bit boot
    -graphic enabler
    -pci1
    -Ethernet
    -Legacy logo (who cares...)

    patches
    -/extra directory
    -fake smc
    -disabler
    -RTC 32 bits
    -Evo reboot

    Driver
    -AHCI sATa

    Sound
    -Voodoo HDA

    PS2
    -Voodoo PS2

    CPU powermanagement
    -Voodoo P-state

    After completing the install:
Worked: ethernet, sound after few reboots, graphics, webcam, mic. Everything is not working like 100% but the way I use it its ok(ex: hdmi output,..)
Not working: wifi (of course no drivers for my 4965 card waiting for mercury squad to release it but very slow so I bought a d-link DWA-125 and it works like charm) trackpad, Battery

installed osx86 tools and cpu-X in order to monitor and repair kexts permissions

So i have a 10.6.3 working install (didn't upgrade to the new 10.6.7 coz 1st I don't care about appstore and 2nd being quite a noob, iam afraid to mess up everything...

After that I followed this thread: [GUIDE] Making a DSDT.aml for Dell XPS M1330, XPS M1530, and XPS M1730 - InsanelyMac Forum (thanks to immo for is dsdt.aml and tips)
I took the M1530 DSDT (purple) for any CPU and followed the thread from step four to make it work.
After reboot I had the Shutdown, restart and graphic enabler working....YESSSSSSS I

I customized a Apple.boot.plist and smbios.plist in order to match my hardware.
I removed AppleHDA kext from S/L/E because had kernel panic on reboot and repaired permissions with osxtools.

My battery icon wasn't showing so i replaced the previously installed Voodoobattery kext which was 1.3.2 and replaced it with an older version 1.2.1 found in an insenelymac thread and it partly fixed my battery issues.

Concerning the trackpad Iam using an usb mouse so I don't really care but I wanted to have at least a working touchpad. I found a thread on insanelymac forums called archive vostro 1510 and downloaded an ALPS glidepad driver that i installed after removing my appleps2controller.kext (and fixing permissions).
It installed a new working appleps2controller.kext which made the trackpad work after installing the ffscrolldaemon inside the file. So now my trackpad is working partially (I can use two finger scroll).

As I said Iam far from being an expert but I managed to make it work partially and it is what i needed.
My 6-cells battery goes up to 1h35 at 100% but still having a strange display in the icon.
Wifi is working thanks to the d-link driver RT2870USBWirelessdriver.kext.

I hope it will help. As i said iam not an expert so every advice will be welcome.
Thanks to all the contributors from insanelymac.
    Cheers from France
