Hi all.
So the problem. Trying to instal hackintosh iAtkos S3 v2 already for two weeks but no result.
My hardware: Asus P7P55LX i5 750 SATA DVD(IDE) Nvidia GT240
I started from setting up my bios params to ACHI, ACPI=S3. I used many combinations of starting parameters such: cpus=1, busratio=20, -x -v -s -F, GraphicEnabler=YES, GraphicEnabler=NO. But finaly every time got:
NVEnabler:: unknown 1024 NVidia
NVEnabler:: probe fail
still waiting fo root device.


So what can I do to resolve this. I think it's all about my GT240 and NVEnabler. But how can I resolve it?
I've read several posts where some people had succesfull instal of retail SnowLeopard on the same hardware (except of video) .

Please guys help needed.

I think your problem is the (IDE). Not sure from your description, but it seems like you have an IDE dvd drive. Thats the problem. You should try switching your DVD drive to a sata and also make sure your hard disk drive is also sata, then it should work. Hope this helps!!

Nope. Just tried with sata DVD. The same problem
