Hi All

First time trying to install a MAC OS on a PC, so what I am doing may be something silly.

I downloaded and burned the iATKOS S3 Snow Leopard 10.6.3 DVD and put it in, however it would get to the white screen with the apple sign and restart, after a quick google search I tried the following.

-v -f busratio=20

This worked and allowed me to get to the installation screen, I used the disk utility to wipe my drive and set it for the appropriate mac partitioning. After choosing where to install I began the installation, it started fine and said it has 18 minutes remaining to install, the bar fills to about 10% and hasnt moved in an hour, all CD and HDD activity has stopped. I am hoping to install this then download Lion and follow the upgrade path to get my machine running Lion.

At the moment I am stuck, so any and all help is appreciated.
