I need some advice on a selection of laptops
So am getting a new laptop and have seen a few i would like.
Dell XPS 1702x
Pavilion g series g6-1132sa
Compaq Presario cq56
Acer Aspire
Dell Inspiron q15r
What one of these will work perfectly as a hackintosh and which disk to use?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Best Regards

None, will ever work perfectly as a Hackintosh. Because if any of them did, don't you think that they would literally be "flying off the shelves". Followed very shortly, no doubt, by Apple suing said manufacturer. Everyone is looking for the same (perfect Hackintosh) system, so if it was available you would already know about it.
Yes, you can make them run Mac OS X, but you will always have to worry about what happens after the next update from Apple (something is going to break). Trying to "Hackintosh" a laptop is notoriously difficult, as you have to try and make the components you have, work with OS X. Whereas, if you go the desktop route (build your own) you stand a much better chance as you can pick the components that are the most compatible.
I am not trying to dissuade you from going down the "Hackintosh" path, but, if you are going to go out and buy a new laptop in the hope of turning it into a real Mac, then you are better off buying the real thing and saving yourself a whole load of grief.
Regards.........
