I would suggest trying to use iatkos DVD. On your mouse and keyboard issues, that should be an easy fix, you may have go into your BIOS and change to AHCI. The Graphics VGA to me is the hardest.

With mine, the Lenovo G-530, it wont play a DVD movie, because of Graphics Acceleration and I believe that may have, in part, given me some fits with youtube as well.

Its best you have a Laptop with an Nvidia video card and desktop installs are much easier.

To me installing it is the easy part, check your bios settings.

The hard part is making all the annoying time consuming fixes.

What do you mean the keyboard and mouse only work sometimes...?

    Does it work at all...?

As for the internet, buy a USB ethernet or wireless adapter card that is Mac compatible until you figure out the correct kexts file to install.

Jwiz, remember it has to be Mac compatible USB adapter, as soon as you plug it in, Snow Leopard should see it and install. If it requires a installation CD, then it will come with one. You may want to ask questions before you buy it to be sure. Remember, I am not a data/hardware source expert nor do I pretend to have all the right answers as to what USB adapter may or may not work for you.

As for your comments that you mention with regard to that site, one person states that it does not work with his USB ports, but he never mentions why...?

As for your argument that card adapter does not work on that Mac system, based on that specific single post entry.

If it doesn't work jwiz, then just simply return it..

If you do not want to be patient nor try to figure out your appropriate card kext, on your own, then spend the extra money and buy a Mac or install Windows or Linux on your PC.

    I wish you luck....
