I have installed using iboot but multibeast won't work
I have recently installed snow leopard on my computer it will boot off of the iboot cd, and i have installed multibeast, but it won't boot of the hdd. Is there any alternative to multibeast. My computer goes to the chameleon screen, but it just restarts when it tries to boot.

having the same issue myself, I installed multibeast as well, now my system wont even boot to any OS i have installed.
As far as alternatives, I have heard the Grub works well. (if you are trying to dual boot)

I have a friend who ran it while using windows (from what I recall) And he said it was the best thing he has used.
I should clarify, I can still boot to my OS's with the Iboot CD, but when removed, the system just sits and does nothing, in the past it would boot to windows, but since trying to install multibeast, it wont even do that anymore.
I will talk to my friend about it and get back to you about Grub.

does your computer freeze up after a while if you leave the iboot disk in? I am thinking about trying it another way do you have any suggestions?

My system doesn't have a problem if I leave the boot disk in, at this time I do not have any other suggestions on how to install that I have personally tried. Someone did say something about myhack installer, if you want to check that out.

As first stage boot loader for multiple OS's, either Chameleon or Grub2 would be fine. But Grub2 won't be able to pass boot option/flag to OSX which is mandatory in some situations. So Chameleon would be the first choice.
