I can't get Hazard to install under VMware...
I am trying to install the Hazard version of Snow Leopard under VMware Workstation 7, but this is what happens:
When I try booting, and I press a key when prompted, the Apple logo appears, but VMware says to me "A virtual CPU has entered the shutdown state. This would have caused a physical machine to restart. This can be caused by an incorrect configuration of the virtual machine, a bug in the operating system or a problem in the VMware Workstation software. Press OK to restart the virtual machine or Cancel to power off the virtual machine." When I don't press a key and wait for the 8 (I think) second countdown, I get "System config file '/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found"
I have it set to FreeBSD 64-bit, but it seems to happen when I set it to any other operating system as well. Please can you help me out here? I'm really stuck and I don't have uber expertise at this subject; I just want to get Leopard installed under a virtual machine. Here are my system specs:
Core 2 Duo E6400 overclocked to 2.6GHz
4 gigs DDR2 RAM 800MHz
GeForce 8800GT 512MB
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
