Question HUGE NOOB!!! NEED HELP INSTALLING ON MY HP DV5! have no idea where to start

ok, so like the title says I'm a huge noob when it comes to this. I know my way around my computer and stuff but some of the things people talk about when refering to this, go right over my head. I've looked around the forums and tried google but I haven't been able to find anything on this. I have a HP pavilion dv5-2134us and my specs are:
Processor: AMD Athlon II P340 Dual core ~2.2GHz
    Memory: 4096MB RAM
Display: AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 w/ 1984 MB of memory
I can't seam to find any info on my touchpad, keyboard, or webcam.

so if anyone could give me links to a tutorial of some kind, or point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. thanks!

Well, you don't exactly make things easy on yourself. Using an AMD processor means that you would have to use a hacked kernel (Apple does not support AMD), which means that you can never get direct updates from Apple. The ATI Mobility Radeon is also not supported, although I think some people on the InsanelyMac site are making moves to try and make it work. If you insist on trying to install on this rig you will never have a full rich "Mac" experience and I doubt that you will get everything working 100 %, but it can probably be done using one of the hacked distributions. I used one called iDeneb about three years ago on my Acer 5920g, but finally gave up on it as it was too frustrating. You will also have to wait for the specific developer to release a new update (which might never happen).
