lol.. yeah. i did the chamilion thing... its showing all the ram i have.. so i didnt to the extra mem thing. its booting now... it hasn't KPed.. but it also is taking a very long time with booting... :C

idk if thats good or bad.. i'll go take a shower.. if its not booted by the time i get back.. then i'm going to use the chamilion from the site instead.. but again.. i'll have to do it after my first class today.. since i have a 2 hour lay over after it.

(and hopefully my wifi works today.. it wasn't working yesturday.. something about serverside password syncing.. it should take 24 hours. ttyl)

I GOT IT WORKING! (hopefully permanently.)

i used apple's update to 10.6.4 then legacy_kernel.. deleted mach_kernel.. then installed PC_EFI and a few other "esscential" kexts.. like fakeuid.kext (or what ever it is.. all i know is i found it, and it works..) and also nullPowerManagement.kext and some others. i'm looking the the kext htat goes with nullpowermanagement to help it be able to sleep. also.. since i did the PC_EFI thing, the PS/2 stopped working so my laptop mouse touch pad thing that laptops have doesn't work. and the keyboard doesn't work either.. so i need that. lol. not too concerned about the video card. i mean.. i can see shit. so. its good. but i installed voodooHDA for sound... and.. next up is seeing if that intel wifi thing is out from the voodoo team or what ever their name is. so, hopefully it's out.


i downloaded a few kexts that claim to be intel wifi kext fixes.. one of them comes with a control pane for system settings. i guess i'll try that one first.. a control pane would be usefull.. i guess...

I have 2 MAC OSX Disc

-Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8 for Intel and AMD (ISO)
-Mac.OSX.Snow.Leopard.v10.6.3 (Came in DMG. file But i used Power ISO to covert to ISO. Had to burn image with a 8.5gb DVD+R DL )
&& also IATKOS v7

2 EFI CDs
-Empire EFI 1.08
-Easy Efi v2.0

Situation: In boot mode the both the Empire Efi and the Easy Efi Loads and takes me to the Disc changing screen but it wont go any further. The first time i thought it was the efi Disc thats not working but that didnt seem to be the case.

2nd: so i thought it was the MAC OSX disc but when boot Singly it take be to boot screen also where i can type the (-v) but then it would just goes into normal window start up.

Is there something i have to do in BIOS?
