Hp Pavilion dv7-2140eo
After 8 attempts on trying to get iDeneb and Kalyway on my precious laptop, I thought I might give the forums a shot..
First of all .. I see alot of request about pavilion laptops.. but primary intel ones.. So been a bit in the dark. Downloaded the newest versions of both distribs, but no luck.
I insert the DVD, boot up and tried all sorts of different combinations from Youtube... But every time i complete the installation and get ready for the boot from harddrive, I always end up recieving a freeze..
Odd thing is .. End up with Caps Lock and Num Lock starts blinking..
Tried all weird combinations with -v -s -f cpus=1
Any Tips ?

I would recheck the BIOS settings and custom selections.
If you've made it through installation successfully then most likely OSX should run IF your custom selections are correct.
