Thanks for the kind words but you should only go OEM if you:

    a) Can't build your own
    b) Don't have time
    c) Very lazy

I was letter b when purchasing.

    Hi,
So you mean to leave letter a and c for me then.
Yes, I've got through my SL error that took so long, after so many terminal works trying to find the root cause, finally gave up and went for reinstall...waiting for DSMOS. Now it's at 10.6.3 in x64 mode, and you're right, it's faster than I thought.
Should I upgrade to 8 GB RAM to gain better performance, for general usage only, no intensive apps? My other OS's still at x32 and don't know how to count that much.
    Thank you.
    Best Regards,

    lol .
Were you using DSMOS.kext in SL? I always use Netkas's FakeSMC instead of DSMOS. Glad to see you got running though. About RAM yeah I would go ahead and put 8GB in for x64. x64 will love you better for it . What brand of RAM were you thinking? Also what other OS's are you running my friend?

Thank you for your quick reply.
The funny thing is that there wasn't any DSMOS.kext anywhere in the system, and I had FakeSMC in /E/E and moved it to /S/L/E to see if it made any difference. I use single mode terminal to rebuild caches, startup caches....etc....
I got 4 GB of PNY Performance series, 4-4-4-12, and it seems to hold on to my OC well, so maybe another matching pairs.
My other OS's: WinXP, Win7 x32, Unbutu x32/x64, Mandriva x32, and of course Ideneb 1.6, and I am working on the retail Leopard.
I know I don't use that many at a time
    Best Regards,

Next time you buy RAM go for Mushkin or G.Skill way better @OC . Mushkin runs good regardless of OC....nice and trouble free with great customer support! Since you already have PNY though cheaper to get another matching set or you could sell'em . I have Mushkin myself the heat spreaders look sexy (all chrome). G.Skill have a bit better OC though. I would up Windows 7 to x64 when you get the extra ram though .
    Regards

Thank you, Dj Osiris for your recommendation. I probably go with Mushkin RAM because I've heard some compatibility with G.Skill on some boards.
    Thanks again.
