Default HP HDX 16t / 18t Snow Leopard Compatible

    Hello All,
I apologize if I am not posting this question in the correct location.

I have been looking on wiki and google and the forum searches and can't seem to find an answer. I have looked under portables and can't seem to find many. Can someone please kindly advise? I would appreciate it tremendously.

Here is my questions. I want to make a purchase and create a hackintosh pro laptop that I might be able to run final cut pro and dual boot with windows 7.

    1) I am debating on buying the HP HDX 16t or 18t because of the sale right now and put Snow Leopard on it:
I am assuming that the GeForce 9600M GT will work, BUT what about the 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT 130M???

I am currently without a laptop and think this would be a great Hackbook Pro under 1k. Other recommendations?

    2) New to hackintosh, Can we use VMfusion on the hackintosh and switch back and forth or just dual boot ability??

I seriously appreciate all and any information. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

I am running OSx86 on a HDX 16t (NVidia 9600M GT with 512MB RAM) with Snow Leopard, which I upgraded to recently. There are no drivers for the Intel IWL5100abgn card AFAIK, and HP locks the BIOS so you can't replace it with a different card (I'm using a Atheros compatible ExpressCard) The 9600M GT works with NVInject but I haven't got audio out on HDMI to work (I'm using VoodooHDA for audio)

EDIT: VMware Fusion works fine if hardware virtualization is enabled in BIOS (it's one of the only options that HP hasn't locked)
