Got Snow Leopard 10.6.3 installed and running, got the ethernet LAN card to work, but not the Atheros AR9285 wireless adapter to work, nor could I get multibeast to boot it up, so I threw in the towel and installed windows back on the machine.

Hi dolphans1,
Need some help, I got the same laptop. Using ISO by Hazard, I successfully installed OSX using the command: -x -v busratio=20 cpus=1
By selecting: the latest Chameleon, Legacy 10.2.0 SSE2/SSE3 Intel AMD, and 10.6.1 and 10.6.2.
However, during the boot time, I keep getting rebooted after I see the apple logo. Did I missed a package? or missed a step?
Thanks in advance,
debox

Sorry for the late reply, just saw your post today, as for some reason Im not notified when someone leaves a post.
I have never tried Hazard, I used Tony Mac CD and an Official Snow Leopard 10.6.3 install DVD.

Hey guys,
I've got the same machine and achieved very good results with iAtkos L2 (Mac OS X 10.7.5).
My installation settings were as follows:
Bootloader > Chameleon 2.1
Bootloader Options > Graphics Enabler, Built-in Ethernet
Patches > FakeSMC, Disabler, RTC
SATA IDE > AHCI SATA
VoodooHDA > 2.1
USB > USB
Wireless > Atheros 9285
PS/2
Laptop Battery
Everything is working except LAN (which I forgot to add during installation), Webcam, 1366x768 resolution and hardware acceleration. I also set it up on a 30GB partition for dual booting. I can access all my Windows drives from the Mac.
