I have an Intel Core 2 Quad running 10.6 and I used to have an Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS 256MB and it felt laggy to I upgraded to a GeForce 9800GTX 512, although Snow Leopard "appears" to be snappier, my xBench scores are lower. Without the hard disks it went from 214 to 180, only change was the video card and it's drivers.

So my question, how can you determine if your video card is running correctly? Thanks in advance.
