I have the same machine...Go to tonymacx86 and grab "iboot" -- it's free. Buy Snow Leopard 10.6.. After burning iboot to a cd, use it as a primary startup device, once you see the iboot disc on your screen, eject it and put in 10.6. It'll take a while for the Snow Leopard screen to appear, but it will. Then format and install. This will wipe out the disc (no dual booting here), and once you're done you will need iboot to start up, but it will start up and work fine. Currently, you'll be without wireless, but you can buy a usb adapter to connect (I am using one right now), but sound works and the screen saver. It's nowhere near perfect yet, but I have hope.

Hi, have you been able to use the stock wireless card? I want to use my inspiron 14r but I don't want to invest in another wirless card unless I am totaly sure that everything else will work with Mac OS (bluetooth, sound etc.)
I am planing to use unibeast and multibeast to install the "drivers".

I've never even thought of doing this! I have an old Dell that I don't even use any more. It would be nice to convert it into a Mac.
