    Default HELP! - Noobie Hackintosh

    Hey all,

first time poster. Sorry if this has been posted. I'm looking to upgrade my MacBook Pro and I want to get something that can handle Motion, After Effects, and all my editing software. I don't want to shell out the $$$ for a over priced apple rig. So I've been doing some research on how to build a Hackintosh.

I see everyone posts their rig (Mobo, processor, vid card, etc.). Does the actual parts matter or can any Mobo and processor run Snow Leopard?

This is my current rig that I plan on buying. Will this work?

Mobo - BIOSTAR TP43ECombo LGA 775 Intel P43 ATX Intel Motherboard

    Newegg.com - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz 6MB L2 Cache LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor BX80570E8400

    Memory - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL
    Newegg.com - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9S-4GBRL

Video Card - EVGA 01G-P3-1373-TR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) Superclocked EE 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card
