    Default Help Installing Snow Leopard on Dell Studio 1555

    Hey, as the title says i need some assistance installing OS X 10.6.3 on my computer. I've tried installing using iBoot and Empire Efi but I end up with the same result in both tries. I tried using iBoot ATI and iBoot Support.

    I've put Sata Mode to AHCI as it says is this tutorial:

    tonymacx86's P55 Hackintosh Blog: iBoot + MultiBeast: Install Mac OS X on any Intel-based PC

    It also says that you should put HPET to 64-bit mode but that can't be found in my bios. Doesn't seem to be supported.

    I reach as far as Step 2, nr. 7. Then I get the following errors in both cases (tried using -x, no difference):

    stat: /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays: stat: No such file or directory
    mount: realpath /Library/ColorSync: No such file or directory
    chown: /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays: No such file or directory
    chmod: /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays: No such file or directory
    nvram: Error getting variable - 'boot-args': (iokit/common) data was not found
    using 64-bit bootcache playlist
    BootCacheControl: could not unlink playlist /var/db/BootCache.playlist: Read-only file system

    systemShutdown false
    Previous Shutdown Cause: 3

    Does anyone have a clue to why this happens? If you need more information about my system please ask!

    Thanks!
