Hazard Snow on HP TX1000
Ok I have tried searching both here and google, I cant find anything close to a guide on how to get this project going. To get things started here are my stats:
AMD Turion 64 X2 @ 2.0Ghz
2 Gigs Ram
250 Gig hard drive (Partitioned to 37 gig for mac and rest for windows vista)
Currently running Vista.
From what I have read the hard drive is sata.
I obtained the Hazard Snow Leopard for amd and burned that to dvd.
I can boot into the dvd but then it freezes up on the apple screen. If I hit the power slider then it will jump and continue to boot a little more but then hangs again. I typed the -v switch and also tried booting with 32 bit mode but neither got any further.
What I'm looking is for help to get this properly installed and running and from there make a guide for this series of laptops. Now I also must add that this series suffers from a bad design where the nvidia 6120 go chip over heats and desolders its self from the board. This effects all DV TX and one other series of HP laptops. I have corrected this problem using the "penny trick" and is now as stable as it will get with out modding the case. This leaves me with one small problem, one effect of the over heating is the internal wifi card socket also melts off the board so that will not work on mine.
If anyone can help me get going, I'll be glad to ad your name to the credits on the guide.
So where should we start?

Updates
Ok so after several tries to get the os installed i took a break and went to go back into windows to read up more. Each time I installed it kept failing. Here is a quick recap:
Deleted backup partition
ran mac osx from dvd and used disk utilities to create a mac journaled partition
Kept trying to use the newly created partition for the mac install and kept getting either a dvd error (if allowed to check which I quickly started to skip) or just a general error.
so I restarted and attempted to use windows and ran into the "missing OS" problem. This was quickly fixed by following the guide here: http://www.hackint0sh.org/f217/133843.htm
So now I have windows and while I had that I tried the mac os install again and somehow it went flawlessly. I will try to find the exact setup options I used and post the results. So far I get to the chameleon loader and select mac which takes me to the apple screen. From here it looks like this is where it finishes the install on the hard drive. Of course it freezes here too and the only way to keep it going is to flick the power button. It seems its the power api (s3) settings in the bios that creates this hang. Nothing big but annoying.
After I get the mac to keep going it show the screen that says it needs to restart. I shut down the laptop buy holding the power switch as it says and when it restarts it takes me back to the apple logo where it finishes the install.
What I need to do is figure out how to get out of this loop and finish the install. Any links will be great. Thanks

I'm going to be dusting off my tx1000 tonight to try and get snow leopard working on it. I'll put together what I can find and post it here.

done and stabilized?
Howdy? is TX 1000 done installed 10.6 Snow Leopard and have stabilized running Machine?
can i have the SkrinSut of the benchmark?
Thanks in the advance, i just wondering how stabil it is.
My Brother have this great series. I want to tested once on Snow Leopard.

using EasyBSD is something i didn't do with my other rigs. without Windoze you can boot into your Mac. Go for Chameleon or Chimera or other bootloader.
For clean install, i usually do not interfere my primary hard disk that contain many personal data. use external drive for secure.
At first I just cleaned up all of my HD, but i getting much more time wasted.
other thing we must concern is the processor is AMD, i think the legacy kernel won't work. so we must find the AMD kernel for work. someone have finished install on AMD machine, we should take a look at that and do some try and error on it.
