Default having trouble installing on HP DV9574EA

hi guys. i recently decided that just one os (win 7) wasnt enough, and i want to familiarise myself with other OSes (?). so i decided to try a triple boot.

firstly, here are the specs of the notebook:
    2.0GHZ core 2 duo
    2GB 800MHZ DDR2 ram
    nvidia 8600m GS
i believe the chipset is the intel 965
    intel 4965AGN wireless
    realtex hd audio
realtek 8168 (i think) gigabit lan
    intel ICH7

hard drives are plenty large enough.

now, i started with win 7, and installed ubuntu.
    worked great.
    then i tried to install osx86 (specifically, its iATKOS S3 v2, 10.6.3).

firstly, the install went well, but ubuntu didnt show up at all in the boot loader, and windows refused to start "bootldr missing".

i tried again, but this time, the integrated trackpad and keyboard didnt work, and neither did the 8600m gs. and the resloution was stuck at 1024x768, on a widescreen.

so, i re-installed windows and ubuntu onto one drive, and am trying a seperate drive for osx86.

but, this notebook doesnt give the option to boot hard drives seperately. so i either have to remove the windows/ubuntu drive to boot osx, or find a way to make the grub loader start the osx86 properly.

so, in short, i would like to know what driver i would need to click in the "customize" area of the install, and how i should go about setting up the boot loader that resides on the win/ubuntu drive, to boot the osx86 install, on another drive.

thank you in advance for any help that you can offer

    UPDATE:
the osx86 seems to be working, i have good performance, and the right resolution, but no wireless (i believe this is a big problem as far as osx86 is concerned correct?), and i still have the boot loader problem.

this notebook wont boot an OS from the right hand drive, only a drive that is connected to the left hand drive compartment.

    EDIT:
and i have no volume control lol.
what i mean is, i have control of the volume, with the HP quick touch buttons, but they have no effect lol
not even the volume control in the bar at the top changes the actual volume (still new to osx). the bar moves, but its still ludicrously loud.

i fixed it myself eventually, no thanks to this forum.

i ended up using a seperate drive, with the chameleon bootloader installed, and win7 with linux on another.
the grub bootloader was installed into the linux partition itself, and i used the windows 7 boot loader to chainload them.
