I have tried to set up a hackintosh using iAtkos S3 version 2 (snow leopard 10.6.3) and am having issues

My hardware config is as follows:

Intel Q6600 @ 3.3 GHZ
8GB Corsair XMS2 PC6400 DDRII Memory
DFI Lanparty UT-X48-T2R Motherboard
Onboard Realtek ALC885 sound
Intel X48 Chipset (have enabled AHCI in the bios as I heard OSX works better with it enabled)
HiS ATI 4850 512MB
80GB SATA boot hard drive
MBR Partition map (my PC can't boot from GPT disks)
PS/2 Keyboard and mouse

I have tried the install with the following options:

Default bootloader (Asere BLN)
Booting with and without the graphics enabler, didn't seem to make much difference
Tried with both the default Apple kernel, and the modified Qoopz 10.3.0 Kernel
Sound (tried with both enabled, and just Voodoo HDA)
PS/2 (tried Apple PS2, and Voodoo PS2 made no difference)

Tried with just the framebuffer and default Apple driver, also tried modified 48xx driver with evo enabler

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, but the install completes successfully, however when I try and boot the following happens

When I use the default Apple kernel, I recieve the grey screen message about turning your computer off with the power button (Although I have absolutely no idea if the 2 are related, this occurs just after my sound is initialised during starup, I usually hear the speaker feedback that occurs when the OS initialises my sound)

When I use the Qoopz kernel, I get a kernel panic during startup

More information about the distribution, and driver options available in it are available here:

If anyone could provide me with some suggestions, I would be most grateful, as I don't have the time to keep booting and playing with every conceivable option, as the process is simply too slow.
