Hardware question convering a specific laptop to have snow leopard
I have been reading and researching hackintosh and putting it on a windows laptop, but this one is custom made. From all my readings, it sounds like OSX can only run on certain systems depending on their motherboard and video card. I have the website where im planning to purchase my laptop to be used for audio recording via Logic Studio.
ADK Pro Audio PC, Laptops, Digital Audio workstations for Nuendo, Cubase, Sonar, Samplitude
Can anyone tell me if its possible to run Leopard or Snow Leopard on this laptop?

Most of recent hardwares are supported. If you post the hardware specs, relevant to OSX installation, then someone could tell you.

If your chipsets is HM55 family, either Leopard or SL could be installed.

I did some research and found out that the ATI Radeon 4570 has problems getting the resolution correct. On the forums I read, it does look like they were able to fix the problem. I`ll know for sure when I get my laptop and try to get mac running.

Does the chipset have to be HM55 or can it be PM55 as well?

Intel 55 series are tough to work with but should not have too much trouble as there are many got OSX running.
