I just thought I'd ask for some help I just bought this laptop a couple hours ago and I was wondering if you guys can tell me what install disc I need to install SL on this machine.

the specs are:

Intel core i5 -460m
Intel HD graphics
4gb DDR3
HM55 express Chipset
Broadcom ethernet
Intel Centrino wifi/wimax adaptors
Matshita Bluray rom

I have a NV59C that has I3 insted I5 but all remaing the same
I use Iatkos S3 V2
in the boot use
-x busratio=17 -v -c -f
than in the instaltion only select compatible drivers

Thank you how do I know what are the compatible drivers? Does everything work?

Hi. First post here. Sorry if this is a dumb question but I also own the NV59C. I tried iAtkos s3 v2 yesterday with no success. I basically got it installed and then got stuck at the dreaded grey Apple screen. So, I was also wondering what the proper drivers were for this installation. Any help greatly appreciated as I'm going to give it another go today. Thanks.

Bump. Anyone here familiar with these laptops? Could the issue be that I'm attempting to install to a partition on an external HDD? Or is it just a matter of kext selection? If the latter is the case, could someone kind of "guide" me on which ones to choose, because some of the hardware in this machine (eg. the Intel GMA HD graphics chip) doesn't seem to have listed drivers at time of install, and others have apparently made this install work on this very model, so I guess I'm just at a loss.
