I have a PC with an ASUS P6TD Deluxe MOBO. I followed this guide and after a couple of reboots using Chameleon it worked! I was on the desktop, internet worked, network was active etc.. All good.

Like a complete idiot I didn't read or research properly and I attempted an update to 10.6.5. When it rebooted it didn't boot into OSX just came up with errors during the output info stage in Chameleon.

I have since reformatted, zero filled and reinstalled OSX 6 times and nothing works since. It comes up with the error, again during the Chameleon boot output stage and it looks like this.

launchctl please convert the follwing to launchhd etc/mach_initi d.dashboardadvisoryd.plist

I have an iMac with an original 10.6.2 disc, this is what I have used to install OSX on a SATA HDD for my PC.
