This is my first go at building a hackintosh and I'm very excited to get going but I need a few confirmations first.

Gigabyte Z77-D3H with i7-2600K: I have purchased these components but have 15 days to return them if it turns out it is easier/not worth it and just get an earlier mobo.

From what I have read, the sound will not work except through USB devices. Would including a sound card fix this problem?

Also, just want to verify that the Multibeast and iBoot programs, etc will work and if there is anything else I need other than those. (I've seen the Lifehacker walkthrough video, basically I'm asking if the steps in this video are compatible with my hardware)

I'm just trying to confirm these questions so I can swap stuff out if I need to.

My SSD is a MAC SERIES XT 120GB
NVIDIA Gigabyte GTX 560
Vengeance DDR3 2x8GB

And I think it should work, although it's just my guess
also an extra audio card might help, I have one in my hackintosh desktop and it works fine (it doesn't have audio on the mainboard that's why i have an extra audio card)
