Help with Empire Efi Please.
Hi-
I am new to this forum, and a little bit of a noobie. I have an HP G60-125NR Notebook. I have an AMD Turion x2 Processor, and a Nvidia Geforce 8200M Graphics card. I attempted to use both versions of Empire Efi for Amd, along with a legal copy of the snow leopard Installation Dvd. Empire Efi boots normally, the darth vader guy appears, I eject the Empire Efi dvd, insert the Snow Leopard Dvd, press f5, the snow leopard dvd appears, and I press enter. Some white text appears in front of the Darth Vader guy, that is near impossible to read, a few seconds later, instead of going into a black screen with lots of writing, like it apparently is supposed to, my computer just restarts, and starts to boot normally. I was wondering if there was a fix for this, or if there was another way to install snow leopard on my notebook laptop, with the hardware it currently has, without an already existing leopard install. Thank You for your help!

PS: I have the same problem with Hazard Snow Leopard, it loads two /library files, and then restarts. I tried busratio=20 -v, cpus=1, -x, -f, and any possible combination with those commands.
Can someone please answer this post. Even if the answer is just "It is impossible." Over 160 people viewed this, and not a single person answered. Someone, please answer.

there are other ways... there is kalyway and iATKOS.. you can search a site called "thepiratebay.org" for both of them. read what they say and make sure you can use it for your processor. if you don't know how to use torrents.. there is a nice button at the bottom of the home page that tells you how to download.
empire EFI was the only way my computer would boot to install mac os x 10.6
my processor just kept giving kernal panics. but it lets me boot with empire. so, those other CDs might not work.. but if you have like 10€ to buy some DVDs.. then go for it.
hope this helped a bit... i'm still having problems with mine.. once i just down after the first boot.. i can't boot back in. empire just freazes.

2momo123,
It looks like the problem is your motherboard-processor combination. Mac OS wasn't designed to run on an AMD, so motherboard KEXTs for AMD chipsets are *really* hard to find. What you need to do, however, is figure out what chipset is in your computer and look for the appropriate KEXT, if you're to have any shot at all of having Mac OS running on your Hackint0sh.
Wish I had better news!
