eeePC 1005 - cannot create new partition
Hello,
I´ve got a problem installing 10.6 on my eee PC 1005P.
I created an install disk like it is described in this blog:
MacEee: Install Mac OS X Snow Leopard on Asus EeePC 1005HA / 1008HA
After rebooting my eeepc with the external hd i can choose the language setting and start diskutility.
But i could not create a new partition. Disk Utitility says there is not enough space to create a new one. And also it says there is no partition-table. The sice of the internal hd is shown with 0 byte.
But on the disk is a 150 GB hfs+ partition - created with gparted.
I had also tried to make a fat32 partition and to try it without any partition.
I´ve also tried to create a guid partitiontable with gparted.
I´ve no idea what might be the problem.
Can anybody help me, please.
Thanks
gerdna

You should be able to create/partition/format your internal HDD if you follow the guide correctly, as it is one of the best around and many people successfully got OSX running with it.

I´m sure that this guide should work. But at my eee pc it won´t.
Maybe the BIOS Version is the problem - i have Version 901. Which Version must be installed? Or shich version do you have installed?
Thanks
