    Question DP55WG + I7-860 - iATKOS or Retail Install?

    Intel Core I7-860 Quad-Core Processor
    Intel DP55WG Motherboard
Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 1GB Video Card
    2x2GB G.Skill RipJaws DDR3 RAM
    Rosewill 950w Power Supply
    HP SATA DVD Burner

    640g SATA HDD w/ Windows 7 Ultimate
1TB SATA HDD (brand new, unformatted)

    -------------------------------------------------------

So I'm new to the Hackintosh scene, I've been hunting around forums for days trying to figure out how to approach this. In my case I found this article which seems to be my best bet, but I had a few questions.

Using the iATKOSv7, am I going to be able to do Apple updates, or is that exclusive to installing retail copies? Should I instead purchase and try installing from a Snow Leopard DVD, even though I can't find a DSDT file for my motherboard? And in either case, how should format the drive so that I've got ~300g for the OSX partition and the rest for storage that Windows and OSX can share?

I'm assuming dual-booting is trivial since the installs are on seperate drives...

Sorry for all the questions, the community is just overflowing with so many different methods and tutorials that it's really difficult to find a good starting point. Thanks for any help!

So I ended up following tonymac's tutorial. It did take a few tries, make sure not to install any extra kext's during the first install.

I have one serious issue I'm having trouble resolving. No internet. I've tried installing both the RealtekR1000.kext and the Intel82566MM.kext, but in network it still only has a Firewire option, no ethernet hardware is detected.

    Help?
