hello there, I'm here to search for help to make an experiment.
I've a white MacBook (early 2009) with SL, but I've recently bought a HP Pavilion Elite HPE 020-it with the following specs:

PROCESSOR: Intel® Core™ i7 860 @ 2,80 GHz (x64)
CHIPSET: Intel P55 PCH
RAM: 6GB DDR3-SDRAM
HDD: Hard Disk SATA 3G 500 GB (7200 rpm)
DRIVE: DVD_Ram DL with Lightscribe
GRAPHIC CARD: NVIDIA® GeForce™ GT230 with 1536 MB
PORTS: 8 USB 2.0 - 2 FireWire-IEEE®-1394
CARD READER: 15-in-1
AUDIO CARD: integrated High Definition Audio 7.1
LAN: integrated LAN Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000
WI-FI: Wireless card 802.11 b/g/n PCI-Ex1

just one hard disk is installed, so I wanna try to install Snow Leopard making a dual boot with the pre-installed Windows 7 (wich has its own restore partition).
What I'd like to know, is what distribution is suitable for my pc, and what I have to do to install the system with no need of deleting the installed os and the restore partition.
May somebody help me?
