Does anyone have a Hackintosh that's trouble free?
I understand that OS is not meant for loading on just any PC, but is the trouble worth it? I have a hacked eeepc. I use it only for web browsing when on the road and to read and respond to emails. I have tried adding apps and they mostly end up disrupting/corrupting the build. I ask the question above because I'm ready for a new computer to replace my 08 Imac and would like to purchase an i7 pc with a top notch monitor, but am afraid the constant fiddling with the OS won't be worth my while. I want to load the OS, have it updated as necessary and be on my way. Will that happen? The reason I originally left Windows behind was because of all the trouble keeping it fast and clean. It was too much work.

i love eeepcs.... but osx really <explicitive> sucks on those things, they are just too small to really do anything on it lol
Your best bet is to get a PC that has close motherboard, processor and graphics card and you should be in pretty good shape....
Also get an external harddrive to use time machine backups so you can keep your working system in case something goes wrong
Get the latest info for NoAccSplash
Here
Currently it should work on iOS 4.x - 6.x

If you'd like to help extend its functionality, the source is also available.
