Unhappy Did I brick my Dell 10v?

    Dear Forum,

I installed Snow Leopard and everything was working well until very recently. I had a prompt on my screen if I wanted to upgrade OSX. I pressed "YES" and my Dell 10v wouldn't complete the installation. I then turned the computer off/on.

This is where the problems began: takes a very long time to load, doesn't receive internet airport function, generally of no use now. It had been working fine with the install disc of OSX and loaded up/shut down very quickly. Now neither of those functions work.

It is not being read as on when I tried to erase the hard drive and reinstall. So I can't seem to reinstall unless someone knows a method.

Did I turn my Dell 10v into a brick or door stop?

    Thanks, BR
