Dell Vostro 1520 - Will work?
Hello guys, this is my first post here, so...Hello!!
The thing is, i'm very curious on trying OS X, i never have seen a mac with OS X working "physically", so i wanna to try this OS.
Right now i have this laptop with Archlinux and Windows 7 installed. I use windows because i need to synchronize my ipod touch nothing more... so i was thinking "Why not substitute Windows with a hackintosh?, is a better OS and i can synchronize my ipod"
I think the process will be relatively easy, because i installed Archlinux, a "heavy weight" distribution, so i think that i can handle this. Anyway, i wanna know if all my hardware will be compatible:
CPU: Intel core 2 duo T6670 @ 2.20GHz
RAM: 4.0GB in Dual-Channel DDR2
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS
Hard drive: 320GB Seagate ST9320423ASG (SATA)
Optical Drive: Optiarc DVD+-RW AD-7580S
Wireless: Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN
What do you think?, I dont care if i have to look for drivers to get everything working(I'm used to it ). Can i get everything working?
I got my original mac OS X Snow Leopard retail DVD, so i find this method of installation:
tonymacx86 Blog: iBoot + MultiBeast: Install Mac OS X on any Intel-based PC
That is a good method? I mean... a recommended method? or there is a better one?
Thanks and i wait some answers.
