    OK, guys.

    You can try this option:

    -x -v cpus=4 busratio=x (x: 330=16, 520=18)

    see what happens.

I've tried all of those: together and by themselves. I've used cpus=1,2,4. Still no luck. I've found that the Qoops Kernel seems to create more KPs than the 10.6.4 kernel. At least I'm assuming it is. The KPs actually fill up the screen so much that I'm not entirely sure that they're all error messages. They look like it though. There has to be a way, it just has to be found, I guess.

I will specify any other specs if needed

Keep getting similar kernel panics. The only difference is that the hex numbers keep changing depending on which options I use. The errors themselves seem to be the same though. I'm guessing that the exact location of the error is changing slightly.

Just the same results here... I'll keep trying though, there has to be a solution. Maybe with the DSDT

I extracted my DSDT with iasl (from acpica.org) and here is what I get :
http://www.grussenmeyer.com/tmp/DSDT...tudio_1749.zip (I can't upload it here as it is too large)
I then tried to recompile this DSDT with the same tool and all I have is a huge number of errors, so many that it stops saying "maximum number of errors exceeded".

So here is my thinking :
if the tool that extracted the DSDt cannot recompile it, there must be something wrong with it. So I really think the kernel panic happens beacause there is a problem with ACPI.
What do you guys think ?

I'm still learning about DSDT, so I'm not of any help there. As for ACPI, I can see that being a problem because that is the last thing that shows right before all of my kernel panics. It usually reads ACPI : System State [S0 S3 S4 S5] (S3). I've seen quite a few accounts of this on some forums, but I have yet to see anyone with a definite solution to it. I'm thinking that I'm going to try extracting DSDT from Linux as a starting point, then I'll see what happens.
