Default Dell Studio 1555 Audio and Screen Help

I am using virtualization and VMWare to run Snow Leopard 10.6.2 on my Dell Studio 1555; I downloaded a pre-installed version of Snow Leopard because I've had problems with everything else. I have audio, but it's awful and barely distinguishable. Also, when I go fullscreen and choose "stretch to fit", my display only takes up part of my screen (like SD video on an HDTV, with black bars on the sides). Is there any kexts I can download to fix these two problems?

    Intel Core 2 Duo CPU P8600 @ 2.4Ghz (2CPUs), ~2.4Ghz
    Memory: 4096 MB RAM
Video Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500 Series
    DAC Type: Internal DAC (400MHz)
    HDD: 500 GB

Did you install audio and video kexts for it?

Yeah I fixed the video last night - I found a kext that worked so I could change the resolution and make it full screen. Videos are still kinda choppy but it's acceptable for now. I've tried VoodooHDA for audio for10.6.4 (I updated to 10.6.4 yesterday, too) and AppleHDA and neither worked for me.

Hey I was just wondering what kext you used to fix the video, and if it changed the ratio from 4:3 to 16:9 properly or if it stretched the screen?
