I'm looking to install OS X on a netbook that I have, however I'm not actually sure if its a Mini 10v or a Mini 10. I've looked everywhere but been unable to find an answer.

The model number is 1011-8950, can anyone confirm if this is compatible?

Also, if it is.. is this the best most up-to-date guide to use still:

If your on Windows download CPU-Z. Run it, click the about tab, select create a HTML report and that will give you some much needed hardware info. Or uploaded and I will take a look. Regards

I have the same problem trying to find info, as I am thinking of buying one 'Dell Inspiron Mini 1011-8950' can you tell me your specs. I have been told most 1011 & all 10v are compatible but worried about -8950
