Dell Dimension 4600 at wits end
I have a Dell Dimension 4600
P4 3.2Ghz HT 800Mhz FSB
3 Gigs DDR
ATI Radeon HD3650 1 Gig DDR with 2 Monitors Connected
Creative Labs Audigy 2ZS
Dual Layer LG DVD Burner
1 2TB SATA HD
1 500GB SATA HD
1 200GB PATA HD
1 80GB PATA HD
Latest BIOS
It runs Windows 7 Normally And yes I have a SLIC installed into the BIOS
Problem is this, I have tried to install iATKOS S3 V2, iDeneb 1.5 (OSX 10.5.5) and iPC (10.5.6)
Both iPC and iDeneb seem to install ok until it tried to initialize the Desktop and then it stops, no Kernal Panic, just dead stop.
And iATKOS stalls when it first tried to boot up.
I have tried turning off Hyper Threading, Removing the sound card and using the onboard card, reduced the memory to 1Gig, Disconnected all HD's except the 1 80GB, I have followed tutorials and even got a little creative, however I am still at a standstill.
ANY help and Advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have very much the same setup except I have a dimension 4500. I used JaS 10.5.4. I did not select a video driver at install because the DVI outs were causing an error. (This was not a problem if using a DVI-VGA converter.) You can then install your video driver after installation is complete. If you need a working driver after install, email me, i have the same video card. Anyway, if you use the JaS distro you should be good to go. I also had problems with other distros but JaS got me in. You can even find a step by step guide for the 4500 (Should be similar) at...
Installing Leopard on x86 PC – Dell Dimension 4500 | MadClouds
This should help. Also, when booting try using -v and -x at boot. They should get you in. If you have any other questions let me know.

The reason I am gunning for iAtkos S3 V2 is because of Snow Leopard. I got iPC 10.5.6 to install, however I had driver issues. I did find the "EaRtH Driver Pack" which has all the drivers. I will take a look at JaS and see what happens. Do you know of any versions of iPC or iDENEB that is of Snow Leopard?
