    Default com.apple.driver.AppleTyMCEDriver

    Iv installed SL on my Samsung Q210 and now when it trys to boot i get a Kernal Panic . I Booted in Verbose and this is what seems to be causeing the KP

    com.apple.driver.AppleTyMCEDriver

    I read elsewere people have removed it to solve the problem but being new to OSX86 & OSX i dont know hwo to do this

    So if it is possible just to remove how would i go about it , If not what would the soulotion Be ?

    It looks like removing the trouble kext is the option.
    Can you access your OSX partition with Windows? Other OSX?
    Are you familiar with Terminal command?

    I have no other OS installed on it no . Im affraid im completly new to OSX so not know alot about terminal.

    But i did see i can accses Terminal from the DVD could i delete it useing that ? If so could u provide me with what commands id need to do Please

    You can just boot in to single mode and use the installed Terminal instead of the DVD.
    Boot your installed OSX with option -s. Eventually it will come to the root # prompt, carefully enter the codes, hit enter after each line, wait for the root prompt, and post any return error message.

    /sbin/mount -uw /
    rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleTyMCEDriver.kext
    rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/*AppleTyMCEDriver.kext
    rm -rf /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches
    reboot


    Then reboot with -v -f (and -x if needed)

    That worked a treat

    But now im booted i have No Lan,Wireless Lan Or Sound

    Should i open a new post for this ?
