    Default Can't boot after Updateing iAtkos S3 V2 10.6.3 to 10.6.7

    Hello I have installed iAtkos S3 V2 (10.6.3) successfully on my Dell N5010, with some minor probelms ( internet doesn't work). I download the update from here:

    http://supportdownload.apple.com/dow...ombo10.6.7.dmg

    After the installation I was required to reboot my computer, I booted it up with the following parameter '-v busratio=16 cpus=1', it boots until I get this: VoodooPState.kext: [Warning] unloading

    There is a full picture of my screen:

    I tried to do it a few more time, and i got it a bit diffrent

    Hey! I got the same problem. It is because of the kernel mismatch that occurs. You are supposed to backup the old kernel file(use osx86 tools : Download ). Also please download the combo update for iatkos s3 (Download Following are the steps :

    Run the combo update. Once it is done, it will prompt you to restart. DO NOT RESTART! Minimize or hide the window. Then open Terminal and enter the following codes :

    *sudo su (and then enter password)
    *cd /
    *mv mach_kernel mach_kernel_bkup
    *cp ~/Desktop/mach_kernel_atom /
    * mv /mach_kernel_atom mach_kernel
    *chown 0:0 mach_kernel
    (again the stars are NOT included)

    Once this is done, restart using the combo update window. After your computer boots, replace all the kexts you backed up and also put in the new SleepEnabler kext from the updated download into your /System/Library/Extentions folder. Then run pfix again. Restart. You should be updated to 10.6.7 and have everything working.

    Try with iBoot Legacy CD from tonymac.
    Boot the CD first from the bios, then select the installation volume. Type -v busratio=16

    Hope that works for you.
