Cannot Load Keyboard In Snow Leopard First Run....HELP!!
well i got the kakewalk 2.2 boot loader that is based on darwin and chameleon i believe....
basically boot from cd, then replace the boot cd with "authentic" snow leopard retail disc, and select it to boot from...
so heres what i have done...
1. from within windows, i used macdrive 7, created a HFS+ partition...so that the mac os x installer would see it....
2.i used disk utility to format it in GUID partition, used journaled HFS+ Extended...
3.then i installed...everything went smooth...
4.now when it starts it goes through this movie say "welcome" in 20 different laguages...
5.Then it says before you beging, please connect a keyboard...i have a ps/2 keyboard, and usb mouse...the mouse works,...
somebody said something about install options adding support but i cant the only install options i have is to add quicktime 7, or 2 other things, none are drivers...i remember it saying something about airbook...like as if this is a airbook retail cd...
if i go buy a usb keyboard will it work for sure? also i tried playing with the usb settings on my board.. in bios but that doesnt work..
here is my specs...
core i7 920
3 gb ddr3
when i use system profiler, mac snow leopard picks up all the specs in the system, except the keyboard....
try put ps2controller kext in extra/extensions..
